Restoring Lives One Smile at a time

In 2017 the trustees of Den-Tech were sought out and contacted to work alongside the University of Puthisastra in the capital of Phnom Penh to help establish a training centre for dental technicians within their Dental School.

According to our sources there are currently only 2 qualified technicians in the whole country and they both trained in Bangkok, Thailand.

This need for well trained and qualified technicians has been identified by Callum Durward, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (Dentistry) at the university.

There are a few backstreet labs around the country but as you can see from some of the photographs these are run by unqualified technicians and the facilities and practices leave a lot to be desired!!6/6

It is Den-Techs aim to help, alongside our UK based educational partners, in establishing training facilities, educational qualifications and to set a high standard of workmanship as well as workplace practices within Cambodia for which it is hoped many Cambodians will be benefit from for many years to come.
