Profile – Sami Stagnell

Restoring Lives One Smile at a time

Mr Sami Stagnell is a GDC registered Specialist Oral Surgeon, he graduated from Kings College London Dental Institute in 2009 and has since worked in practices across the South of England. 

Following specialty training he was awarded one of the first UK posts as a Fellow in Clinical Leadership and Management with Health Education England, working with supporting national healthcare projects

In 2015 he was awarded a merit in his MSc in Aesthetic Dentistry with Kings College London and in 2018 he completed an MSc with the University of Manchester in Skin Ageing and Aesthetic Medicine. He is an active member of many societies and represents the profession as the vice-chair of the Young Dentists Committee with the British Dental Association.

He has gained his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery with the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh and holds membership of the Faculty of General Dentistry with the RCS England and has recently become an elected board member for the Oxford & Wessex division of the FDGP. 

In 2018 Sami was selected by the ITI to complete an international scholarship at a leading EU Implant Centre.  He has spent the past year at the Medical University Graz in Austria where he has further developed his expertise in Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry as well as being actively involved in research and teaching.

Having worked other charity projects throughout his career, the match with Den-Tech was a natural fit and Sami hopes to support and develop the clinical aspects that typically run parallel to the brilliant work that the DenTech team provides.
